BLUEBERRY POMEGRANATE AND FLAXSEED SMOOTHIE
This Blueberry Pomegranate and Flaxseed Smoothie is jam packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
If you are looking to add more flax seed to your diet, try this Blueberry and FlaxSeed Smoothie. Full of fiber, this blueberry smoothie is very satisfying and healthy.
Flaxseed is high in protein and can be sprinkled on many foods like yogurt, oatmeal or granola. Can also be added in soups, stews and pasta sauces. It can also be used in baking.
Blueberries are another superfood high in antioxidants. They are packed with fiber and vitamins.
I like to add Greek Yogurt to my smoothie for his flavor and the addition of protein.
Using frozen fruits creates a milkshakelike texture.
Pomegranate juice has also excellent antioxidant properties. It has about three times more antioxidants ounce-for-ounce than does red wine or green tea.
Some research has shown that this juice may work as a blood thinner, and it may be an excellent agent for promoting blood flow to the heart.
Try this Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie for a healthy drink.
