Strawberry and Apple Smoothie

Smoothies are nutritious and easy to make. Versatile, you can use your favorite fruits.

It is not strawberry season right now. The juicy and sweet red fruit is so delicious during the summer. Using frozen strawberries is a good alternative for smoothies.

But in october the apples are gorgeous and colorful.

Strawberries mix well with most fruits, add vibrant color and provide sweet flavors.

Adding yogurt to the smoothie provides some good protein.

Strawberry and Apple Smoothie

Strawberry and Apple Smoothie
Serves: 1
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple, peeled and cored
  • 1 pear, peeled and cored
  • 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Tb or 2 Tbs honey (optional)
  • 1 cup ice
  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

    Your smoothie recipe sounds delicious! I love freezing fruit like strawberries and bananas, and using those instead of ice – it makes for a richer smoothie!

    I modified this recipe to what i liked i made a strawberry smoothie with a hint of cranberry pomegranate


    – 1 cup of strawberries
    – 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
    – small quirt of honey (optional)
    – 5 ice cubes
    – 5 tbs 100% cranberry,pomegranate juice (optional)
