You will need 2 cups cooked  Sushi Rice

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ green pepper, diced
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 8 large thin slices pepperoni
  • 8 large thin slices salami
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 sheets nori
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  1. In a non-stick skillet, sauté red pepper, green pepper in olive oil until slightly tender. Set aside.
  2. Spread about 1 cup of rice on the matte side of each nori, up to ¾-inch from one edge of the narrow side, working with moistened fingers. Spread evenly onto the surface of the nori.
  3. Spread about (3 tablespoons) of pizza sauce in the centre of each nori on top of the rice.
  4. Place 4 slices of pepperoni on top of the sauce, then 4 slices of salami, then add ½ pepper mixture on top. Repeat with the other nori.
  5. Place on the bamboo mat and roll. Squeeze the roll with the bamboo mat by applying uniform pressure.
  6. Cut each rolls into 10 pieces using a very sharp knife dipped lightly in water.
  7. Transfer the rolls into a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Preheat broiler
  9. Broil the pizza until golden brown.
  10. Make 2 rolls- 20 bites
