With over over 5 grams of fiber per tablespoon and 2 grams of high quality plant protein, chia is a great way to add oomph to your favorite low-fiber, low-nutritient foods.

Chia is versatile; it has a neutral taste and the seeds possess a pleasant, almost nutty texture.

Chia Sunrise
Serves: 1
  • 1 orange, peeled and halved
  • 5 strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon agave or your favorite sweetener
  • 1 cup cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Drink immediately.
